HIGHLAND ZONE |
|||
The Highlands zone is made up of two political regions namely Ruvuma and Iringa. It has a land area of 128,392sqkm and a population of 2,743,672.
It boarders the Republic of Mozambique to the south, Lindi & Morogoro regions to the east, lake Nyasa to the west and Singida and Morogoro regions to the north.
VET PROVISION
The zone has 110 vocational training centres and Folk Development Centres which offer training in different trade areas. The distribution of centres in the zone is as follows:
