VETA  PREPARED FIVE YEARS PLAN TO ENHANCE VET SYSTEM  IN TANZANIA

Vocational Education and Training Authority which is the body given by the Government a mandate to oversee all Vocational Education and Training activities in the country is in the final stages of preparing a five plan 2006 - 2010 named Corporate Plan III.

The goal for of CP III is to have VET effectively contributing to economic growth and poverty reduction. To this effect CP III has integrated the goals and strategies of the following national policies, strategy and programmes: National Strategy for Growth and Reduction of Poverty (MKUKUTA), SME Policy, Education  Sector Development Programme, Education and Training Policy and Agricultural Sector Development Programme.
