Promotion Activities

VETA is charged with the role of promoting vocational education and training in the country. VETA believes that the public can support VET if it is provided with adequate information about VET goals and activities.

Promotion is carried by communicating VET to the following stakeholders:

  • Government,

  • Parents,

  • Employers,

  • Employees,

  • Donors

  • Current trainees,

  • Prospective trainees,

  • Instructors,

  • Trade Advisory Committees,

  • Support staff,

  • VET graduates,

  • Confederation of Tanzania Industries and Chambers of Commerce,

  • Trade Unions,

  • Legislators,

  • NGOs and,

  • Media.

VETA uses the following methods and media in communicating VET to stakeholders: advertising, VET week activities, public presentations, trade fairs and exhibitions and publicity. The Authority also uses newsletters, annual reports, brochures, VET catalogues, website and other promotional materials.
